Sugar Baby
This mare is a real power-house.
Sugar is a tremendously strong and surefooted horse. She will take you anywhere
you dare go. She very well trained horse for any job on the ranch. This is a
horse for someone who knows what they want from a horse and is confident about
getting it. |
Roxie
This compact little mare is
quite easy to get along with and will take you anywhere on the ranch. A well
muscled well conditioned chestnut horse that has a sweet disposition. She is a
great companion for someone who wants to take care of a horse that will take
care of them for a week. |
Red Man
This big lug is enjoyed more
by a strong personality type who is willing to make him wake up and go. He has
been everywhere and done most everything, from the ranch to the arena to a
couple years in 4-H youth programs. Hundreds of miles on the ranch and
proficient at every job he also has hundreds of hours of “kid time” on his
resume. |
Little Red
A giant horse trapped in a
little horse’s body. This guy has a can-do/will-do personality. A well
seasoned younger ranch horse. This horse carries a 100% record when it comes to
satisfied riders even when paired with various personality types. |
Jeff
Jeff is our ranch's babysitter
horse. We keep Jeff around for when younger kids or special needs riders come
around. If you have always wanted to ride horses but are very intimidated this
is a great training wheels type of horse. |
Grey Goose
This is a true gentle giant, a
capable and willing partner. This is a horse able to carry a plus size rider no
matter the ability or experience. A verifiable ranch mount. |
Ginger
She is a Porsche style horse
quick and sporty. She moves beautifully and loves to get out and move and do a
job. A young up and comer sure to be a star in our cavvy
for many years to come. |
Denny
A BLM Mustang that has,
since his adoption, been doing a job on the ranch. He
now also has three successful years of guest ranch work on his resume. Denny
has all-day stamina and will cover lots of rough
country with grace. |
Dandy Lou
Coming three this spring(’09),
we are tentatively planning her release into the wilds of the guest string in
the spring of 2010. This young filly shows all the promise a cowboy could hope
to see in a young horse. |
Casey
This power plant is a never
let ‘em see you sweat champ. This horse eats up ground no matter the style of
terrain, and always looks great doing it. Casey is the consummate ranch stick,
your opportunity to ride what the Nevada buckaroos ride. |
Callie
Callie is a sweetheart of a
horse, not much in the way of a cow-horse but a lover
of people. She is perfectly able to fulfill the daily tasks such as touring the
ranch, moving cattle, and basic ranch duties. She is a perfect horse for
beginners or more timid riders. |
Butch
Butch is another top hand on
the ranch. There’s not enough room here to adequately describe or extol all of
his virtues. Suffice it to say, if there’s any job to
be done on the ranch, Butch can do it. This guy has a large and loyal following
among our guests. This tall, narrow, long-legged horse loves his job! |
Buffalo
A civilized gentleman capable
of any job on the ranch. His good-natured disposition inspires confidence in
more timid riders and is proficient enough to help you progress with your
horsemanship skills during your stay with us. |
Buddy
Some were born to be leaders
and some were born to be followers. Buddy is a great follower. Another horse
well-suited for children and beginner riders . |
Brumby
Another rising star in our
future guest string. This 3-year-old shows a lot of potential as a true cow
horse. Coming along well in her training and tentatively scheduled for guest
use spring of 2010. |

Amigo
Amigo is a 71 Guest Ranch
fixture. He is another one of our horses with a very devoted following, young
and old alike.
 Amigo will remain an institution here on the guest ranch
until he is unable to carry out his required tasks. |
Two Bits
This big, beautiful black horse is perfect for certain types
of personalities. He requires a confident rider with sufficient equestrian
experience- someone devoted to furthering their horsemanship abilities . |
